What software would be used to create the graphics in games such as WoW or Guild Wars?
I would like to know what software is used to create the models and scenery in games such as World Of Warcraft and Guild Wars. I don't want to create games as such, I would however, like the software to create a small sort of animation of a model moving or something. What software is used to do this? Would they use Maya or 3D Max? Thanks.

- Either will work, the only difference is interface. Try both and see which one is more comfortable for you to use.
