  1. see it all depends upon how creative website u want. Generally for Normal website it rates around 2,500-3,000. rest all depends on number of pages also you want.
  2. Try to estimate as closely as you can how many hours the project will take you, then establish an hourly rate for your web development services. If you are a beginner and feel that you develop well, but are a little on the slower side, I would recommend around $35-$50 an hour. If you are experienced and quick, I would recommend around $75-$100 an hour. Most agencies base their bids on a $150+ an hour scale. But they have to pay for an office, administrative employees, and a lot of other costs. Good freelancers are generally around 50% less than agencies. I would also recommend adding in a little extra to accommodate for administrative time and scope creep (sneaky little additions to a project's complexity as your clients review a near complete site). Example: If I think a site will take me 20 hours, and I work for $75 an hour, I would bid $1,500 plus an additional 10% just-in-case.
