How can I get wireless internet without using a desktop?
I got a laptop for X-mas, and my old desktop used Linksys router for wireless internet. However, my desktop got a virus. Now I don't have wireless internet since I don't remember the authorization code (?) to connect to my wireless internet (I had saved the code on my desktop). Is there anyway to get wireless internet without the use of a desktop?

- there are two solutions for you. 1. use a pin to reset your router back to factory setting and reconfigure it. 2. get a linux LiveCD Distro such as Puppy Linux (http://puppylinux.org/main/index.php?file=How%20to%20download%20Puppy.htm approx. 128MB), download it, burn it to a cd-r, reboot the compuer, load into Puppy, mount the Harddrives/partitions, locate the file with your wireless info.
